Congratulations to Mr. Jim Gecsei & Mr. Tom Tucker our 2010 Tennessee National Member-Guest Champions! There was a playoff for the runner-up position with Mr. Bill Schmidt and Mr. Chuck Benedict playing off against Mr. Bill Jenkins and Mr. Jerry Whitehead. Schmidt and Benedict came out victorious and took the runner-up trophies. Congratulations to Marsha Gastor and Linda Trotter, Tennessee National Golf Club’s 2010 Ladies Member-Member Winners! Knoxville has been ranked as the eighth best city in the country to raise a family by Forbes Magazine. They cite that the low cost of living, low rate of crime and solid educational prospects put Knoxville high on the list. We are lucky to have the excellent University of Tennessee educational system in Knoxville [...] On Saturday, June 5th Tennessee National held its 4th annual Founders Tournament. While it was warm out, it was still great golfing weather and the golfers had an exellent time vying for the championship. Billy Mitchell and Keith Barrett were victorious shooting a 64 and 2nd place went to Duane Galbreath and Marsha Gastor. Tennessee National Golf Club is pround to be hosting the A3 Celebrity Golf Tournament on June 18th, 2010. |
