The first round of the TGA Senior Amateur started today at 9am at Tennessee National Golf Club. Over 100 players came out yesterday for the practice round. Todays weather is perfect for playing and watching golf! Admission is free and the public is welcome to come out and watch. The tournament runs through Thursday, September 3rd.

Tennessee National is excited to be hosting the TGA Senior Amateur Championship September 1-3. Admission is free and we encourage the public to come out and watch some great golf. Rounds start at 9am on Tuesday and Wednesday. The final round starts at 8am on Thursday.

Last year’s winner Larry Dupree of Germantown will be defending his title against of field of strong competitors from all over the state of Tennessee. Tennessee National is proud to have three of our own members playing in the Senior Amateur, Steve Newberry, Billy Mitchell & A.C. Cooper. Good luck!
