]]> firstteeopenHave you heard of the First Tee? I’m sure if you are a golfer you have, if not, it’s part of the World Golf Federation and was started in 1997 to bring the game of golf to youngsters that would otherwise not be exposed to the game and its positive values.

Tomorrow is the Walmart First Tee Open at Pebble Beach, 70 junior golfers who participated in First Tee programs worldwide will have the opportunity to play with 78 professionals. (The other 8 juniors are exemptions from the Monterey Peninsula Foundation.) What a great opportunity for these kids to play a great course and with professionals they’ve probably just watched on TV.

Tennessee National’s golf course designer, Greg Norman, will be playing in the Walmart First Tee Open, a Champion’s Tour event.  Here are the details from shark.com (you can follow Greg’s scorecard in the tournament by clicking here)
